The texture of the surface of traditional materials (brick, bamboo, wood, tiles) is more easily integrated with nature, but when applied to modern architectural design, a simple and rough dialogue appears. In the selection of façade materials, the designers boldly abandoned the stubborn stone materials and chose traditional materials with a softer texture, such as bamboo – DassoXTR coating, on the one hand to express respect for the area, on the other hand to explore the design method to mix and match traditional and modern materials.

Vanke Times Center – natural anodized aluminum, bamboo and glass – reflects the simplicity, elegance and tradition of Scandinavian design. Subtle reflective surfaces such as perforated ceiling and alumina panel walls define the building’s cool color palette and capture subtle variations in light. Low-iron glass, reflective glass and frosted glass are juxtaposed with tactile elements such as large steps, handrails and fixed furniture made from eco-friendly natural bamboo products.

The ancient city of Xilai, the 1,700-year-old city, is the kind of place that is neglected in most tourist guides for foreign tourists and is probably not at the top of the list of must-sees for most visitors from Sichuan. We must preserve the charm of the old cities as much as possible and, at the same time, refresh the historic buildings. dassoXTR, the most appropriate product that has both the sense of historical relics and high quality, has been widely used in this project.

Zhengdong New Area, integrating landscape as an urban element of public vision, integrating culture, region, region and history into a new public space and a new urban culture. The whole museum located in the mountains and rivers, temperament conform to the traditional architecture of Jiangnan buildings and also has the modern style. The whole wallboard of Museum is used dassoXTR cladding and dassoXTR Lumber&panels, with the dark brown outdoor wall cladding, the grey marble tiles, the white walls, all this make the whole building looks very matching and very harmonious.

The project takes a similar scale to the folk resident of the neighbor block, and becomes integrated with the historical blocks. New buildings surround the ancient workshop, and make it stand out by adding shading around the preserved building in an arm-around gesture. Rebirth brick and composite bamboo are taken as major building material, both of which are similar to the traditional and environmental friendly. A building cluster is built with contemporary methods and traditional aroma.
